The management and members of the presidium considered only five questions. The discussion began with a draft Calendar of Events for 2021 year.
According to the executive director of the All-Russian Mas-Wrestling Federation Ivan Sivtsev, next year it is planned to hold two Russian mas-wrestling championships among men and women, as well as two Russian championships among boys and girls, juniors.
Participants of the online meeting discussed organizational issues and issues of holding competitions and preparation of sites.
Further, Ivan Sivtsev reported on the organization and holding of the Mas-Wrestling Championship and Championship of Russia at 2020 year. Noted, that the Championship of Russia among juniors and juniors, boys and girls planned with 16 by 19 October in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania.
About the holding of championships and championships of federal districts, All-Russian tournaments, members of the Presidium noted, that the organizers have the right to make the appropriate decision at their own discretion.
The main topic of the agenda was the preparation and holding of mas-wrestling competitions within the framework of the Games of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The Games of the CIS countries in the Republic of Tatarstan may take place in the first decade of October and become the first major international sports event after the coronavirus pandemic. Participation in them is planned 11 nations, more 2,5 thousand participants 21 kind of sport.
The head coach of the Russian national mas-wrestling team Nikolai Konstantinov introduced the approved list of the Russian junior mas-wrestling team to participate in the Games of the CIS countries.
Vice President of the IMF, member of the WFMR Presidium Lena Tomskaya spoke about the preparations for the mas-wrestling competitions within the framework of the CIS Games.
WFMR President Mikhail Gulyaev emphasized, that the pandemic has made its own adjustments in the sports life of the planet, many competitions postponed, championships. “In spite of everything, athletes today continue to train and maintain their physical shape., to be able to compete for sports records, as soon as the restrictive measures are over. We must continue to work on principle, solve emerging organizational issues, make the right decisions together ", – said MP.
The meeting participants noted, that during quarantine the emphasis is more on theory, opening of new directions. So, Alexander Stafeev from the Ulyanovsk region made a presentation on the prospects for the development of mas-wrestling among the disabled. In his opinion, this will give a new impetus to the popularization of this sport, taking it to the next level.
This proposal was unanimously supported by the leadership of the All-Russian Mas-Wrestling Federation. Members of the Presidium clarified, that it is necessary to hold tournaments among deaf and hard of hearing students.
Mikhail Gulyaev emphasized, that a significant expansion of the competition program, growth in the number of records, improvement of special technical means make it possible to make sure that, that sport is not the prerogative of only healthy people.
At the same time, the members of the presidium talked about the development of army mas-wrestling.
The meeting was also attended by a member of the WFMR Presidium, titled Russian mas-wrestler Viktor Kolibabchuk. According to Lena Tomskaya, he is preparing for a live broadcast in front of an audience of thousands of schoolchildren from 12 to 18 years old, That will take place 25 July in the social network "VKontakte". "For an hour Victor will talk about mas-wrestling and answer questions from future athletes.", – announced by Lena Innokentyevna.
Its useful to note, that as a result of multifaceted work in recent years, a unique breakthrough has taken place in the development and cultivation of mas-wrestling. Mas-wrestling is rapidly expanding its horizons and becoming a popular sport in the world. This is the result of the collective work of many enthusiasts represented by the Association "Sahaada-sport", International Mas-Wrestling Federation, All-Russian Mas-Wrestling Federation and Mas-Wrestling Federation of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) with the support of the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of Yakutia, two physical education institutes: Institute of Physical Culture and Sports at the North-Eastern Federal University named after. MK. Ammosov and the Churapchinsky Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, more precisely, each department of the republic makes its own contribution to this noble process.
